Dr. Mike Marotta

Dr. Michael Marotta grew up in the greater Cleveland area. Upon graduation from Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1984, he returned to Cleveland, where he entered a two-year general practice residency at MetroHealth Medical Center. During his residency, Dr. Marotta received advanced training in all facets of dentistry.  From 1986 to 1991, he was a member of the teaching staff in the Department of Dentistry at MetroHealth and was an instructor in Community Dentistry with Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry.

In 1989, Dr. Marotta opened his private practice in Westlake, Ohio. He has always been committed to continuing education, and in the years following, he invested considerable time in the advanced study of orthodontics, non-surgical treatment of gum disease and implants.

In 1994, Dr. Marotta received the prestigious Fellowship Award of the Academy of General Dentistry. The Academy is the second largest dental organization in North America and unlike other dental organizations, ongoing education is a requirement of membership. In 2005, Dr. Marotta was awarded the highest level of recognition in the Academy, the Mastership Award. In total, this award requires 1,000 hours of continuing education in specified areas of study and special review of credentials by the Academy.

Dr. Marotta's philosophy and that of the entire team is to deliver care in a compassionate non-judgemental environment.

Dr. Marotta is also a member of the America Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the Greater Cleveland Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Ohio Academy of General Dentistry, and has participated in several dental study Clubs. He is also active in his community through various charitable organizations including RAM Ohio (Remote Area Medical). 

Dr. Marotta and his wife, Kathleen, live in nearby Avon, Ohio. They enjoy travel, cooking, outdoor activities and participating in their local sports car club events.


 

Dr. Christopher Chapman

Dr. Christopher Chapman grew up in Cleveland, graduating from Solon High School and continuing on to Miami University, graduating with a degree in Zoology and Molecular Biology. He then went on to earn both a Certificate and Master's degree in human genetics, and graduated with honors from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. After graduating, he continued his training at the Cleveland Clinic, receiving advanced training in all facets of dentistry, with an emphasis on treating dental patients with complex medical conditions. During his time at the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Chapman was committed to continuing education, investing valuable time in the study of dental implants and new techniques for tooth colored fillings.

Dr. Chapman is committed to providing multidisciplinary, comprehensive dentistry revolving around patient education and complete oral health. He is an active member in the Greater Cleveland Dental Society, Ohio Dental Association, and American Dental Association, which allows him to constantly stay up to date with current trends and techniques in the field of general dentistry.

Dr. Chapman and his wife, Lauren, and four young children live in Avon, Ohio. When not at work, they enjoy traveling, any outdoor activities, playing sports, and spending quality time with family.
